What is a ring warming ceremony?

Updated: Oct 16, 2019

A wedding ring warming ceremony is a wonderful way to include everyone at your special day.

The wedding rings are passed from each person who have a moment to hold them and place their good wishes, love and warmth into the precious metal of the rings.

A member of the bridal party can help this to happen whilst the main ceremony has begun.

The rings can be placed in a box, on a ribbon or in a organza bag for safe keeping during this ceremony.

The rings are then returned to the couple ready for the ring exchange, and the rings become not just symbols of love for each other, but a reminder of the love and support of all of their family and friends.

If you’d like to hear more about the wedding ring warming ceremony, or other unity ceremonies you can incorporate into your day, please get in touch.
